As the summer comes to a close
So I leave to go back to the States in just 7 days. I can’t believe how quickly this summer has gone by for me. Just visiting so many different countries over the past 2 months as been such a awesome experience. I am so glad that I made the choice to do it. Even though I am sure my parents would disagree with me on that one. But living in England for the past month and a half has really opened my eyes to a different culture and looking at my travels in a totally new light. Now that I have been able to setup the major items in order to live and work, it’s harder for me not to want to move and live here for a few years harder to resist. But before I do that, I need to finish my school, have enough money in the bank account to support myself for a month, and have a job setup and ready to go. Looking for jobs here can be rough and takes a bit longer than finding a job in the states.
Tomorrow I head off to Amsterdam to visit my friend Melody & her boyfriend Christian. I’ll be in Amsterdam for 5 days before I head back to the UK and leave for the States the next day. They have a lot planned for us to do and I am looking forward to seeing them again and checking out Amsterdam alllll over again. Christian has bought us tickets to go to my very first football match! I am REALLY stoked about that. And then it’s also Melody’s birthday too. So we are throwing a Mardi Gras themed party for her.
That’s it for now, gotta go get all my bags packed.
